Deborah Kimmett’s unique combination of “Wit with Wisdom†has been honed over the 28 years she has been delighting crowds at theatre and conference venues throughout North America.
Through her many years of teaching improvisation to corporate and public service managers and staff, Deborah has helped literally thousands of people deal with life and the myriad changes it offers us.
Deborah’s philosophy: “It’s what happens after we say YES that is interesting. I love teaching people how to risk that and venture into that exciting world of What’s Next?”
Deborah has acted in many plays across Canada and written eight of her own. Her first, Miracle Mother, was nominated for the Governor General’s Award for Best Play.
She has toured her one-woman shows since 1990, regaling audiences with her take on personal experiences she has either enjoyed or, more likely, endured. And learned from.
Deborah has been featured on CBC Radio’s The Debaters and appears regularly on the CBC Winnipeg Comedy Festival.
