With 34 years of teaching, I know so many people want to tell their stories. But they have so much internal resistance they cannot start. Doubt plagues them before they even sit down. Now, yes doubt is part of the human journey and especially the creative ones, but sitting down and staring at an empty page can overwhelm, even a seasoned performer.

But my writing classes deal with that. I specifically treat your doubt by helping you flex your creative muscle in small chunks of time.

Because it’s my birthday class, I deliver a short talk on beginnings and where to start the story. Then we will do some timed writing.

In the last half hour, we will hear three readers share their work in development.

I will read you a piece of work to inspire you.

 

Because money can be tight during these times, I offer a sliding scale of $40-$100.

This workshop is for all levels of writers. It is safe and fun.
