Frankie Drake ( CBC TV) is a murder mystery and I was lucky enough to get a cameo role .

Last summer I decided to get an agent again and try some acting. Ya I turned 61 and thought hey that is a great time for women to be on TV!   ( tongue planted firmly in cheek)

When I started out I did far more acting for radio and TV.  And when my son, Brendan cast me in Keep Coming Back, ( to see clip CLICK HERE.) I got the acting bug again.

I was lucky enough to get a small cameo appearance on Frankie Drake on CBC TV.

It was quite an eye opener. Not just because I saw how much I look like my mom, 🙂 ( see below)  but also how fun it was too work on a show where you are given true creative freedom.

The director and producers really let the actors give you free rein, and decide on how they choose to play the roles.

In Franke Drake, I got to play along side the hilarious Sharron Matthews who is the coroner Flo.

As well as a wonderful newcomer Rebecca Liddiard who plays Mary!

Its a fun, clean, mystery show by the same producers as Murdoch Mysteries.   Check it out I think you will like it.
